HIV is a type of a typical group of viruses called retroviruses these viruses sustain their genetic information in the form of an acid which is called ribonucleic acid (RNA). With the use of an enzyme that is identified as reverse transcriptase, HIV and other retroviruses are capable enough of producing deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) from RNA, whereas many of the cells carry out the conflicting procedure, transcribing the genetic material of DNA into RNA. We all should be aware that HIV is not transmitted through sweat, tears, saliva, or by sharing different things like food, towels, utensils, a swimming pool, and toilet seat of someone who is infected with the virus. It is also not transmitted through mosquitoes or bedbugs.
The HIV virus attack is usually deadly because it attacks directly to the immune system cells (variously called T4, CD4, or T-helper lymphocytes) that would generally fight off such a viral infection. Receptors on these cells seem to empower the viral RNA to enter the cell. The HIV virus is sexually transmitted, and this is not the only virus or infection that is passed through intimate sexual intercourse. Other (STDs) sexually transmitted diseases, for instance gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, and chlamydia, can also be contracted through the anal, vaginal, and oral intercourse. The HIV infection is not solely a problem in any specific region, it is a worldwide problem.
This infection is so deadly because it attaches itself to different crucial parts of the immune system that usually called CD4+T lymphocytes, which is a group of white blood corpuscles that help the immune system to fight against such infections or every infection. Gradually but certainly, all the healthy CD4+T lymphocytes in the blood collapse, while HIV insistently weakens the ability of the body to defend itself from infections. HIV is most often transmitted through sexual intercourse. That is because fluids mix and the virus can be swapped, particularly where there are tears in vaginal or anal tissue, wounds or other sexually-transmitted infections (STIs). HIV is often very crumbly, and using of some common substances, such as hot water, soap, bleach and alcohol, may easily kill it.
The HIV virus attacks your immune system, our immune system has a kind of cell that are called “T Cells” the function of this cell is to protect body from different diseases attacks to the body. This is the virus that causes AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) and “perinatal HIV” term is used when it is assured that HIV has been transmitted to the new born baby from the mother.
HIV virus is found in saliva, but the quantity in saliva is too limited to affect someone. Even if you drink a bucket of saliva of an HIV positive person, so there are not any chances that you will get affected from HIV. HIV is the virus that causes developed immune deficiency syndrome or AIDS.
Without any doubt HIV or AIDS is a deadly disease if not treated properly and on-time. Proper vaccines and other medicines are required to survive from this deadly disease.
